Dear Reader,

The Computer Applications Department of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences is organizing a UGC sponsored National Workshop on “EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES IN COMPUTER SCIENCE “ (ETCS 2012) on 2 & 3 Nov. 2012 at BSSS, Bhopal. The workshop will provide valuable platform to the researchers and faculties to enhance their potential. Lectures by eminent speakers on emerging technologies in the field of computer science will open new dimensions and opportunities for research.

The main focus area of the workshop will be:-

• Pedagogy & Teaching Methodology, Teaching Tools & Aids in IT
• Innovative methods in teaching computer science: domains and technologies
• Research Methodology in Engineering Education
• Research Trends in Artificial Intelligence
• Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks
• Object Relational DBMS, Recent trends in Data Warehousing, Mining & Large Databases handling
• Cloud Computing: Algorithms and Architecture
• Any other new technologies in Computer Sciences that experts might want to share at this platform

In a brainstorming session, Eminent Professors from IIT Delhi, IIT Indore, NITTR Bhopal and other reputed institutes of India will discuss on the issues and share their views on the theme of the workshop.
